February 19, 2021

Levin Albartus Clark Sr., 78, passed away in the loving care of his devoted family Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at his home in Selbyville.

He was born in Berlin, Md., to the late William and Jenny Hudson Clark. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Paul Clark, as well as two sisters, Sarah and Gertrude Clark.

Levin was a profoundly dedicated family man which all began when he married Erma Jean Toomey on June 26, 1971.  He worked as a construction mechanic, beginning at H&H Poultry, Swann Construction, Mountaire and Cygnet Construction.  He was a hard-working, wonderful family man, a terrific husband, father and grandfather.  He was very kind, very well liked and outgoing, and when necessary: he was outspoken.  He loved softball, baseball, dirt track racing and attending auctions.  He also loved old cars.

Levin is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Erma Clark of Selbyville; and four children Levin A. Clark Jr. of Georgetown, Tammy Clark of Millsboro, Jeff Clark (Dannette) of Dagsboro and Billy Clark (Amy) of Selbyville.  He is also survived by a sister, Mary Hall (Elmer) of Selbyville; and two brothers, Tom Clark (Diane) of Berlin, Md., and Charles Clark of Selbyville.  Levin also leaves behind five grandchildren: Adam Clark (Deanna), Justin Clark, Karrah Clark, Logan Clark and Katie Clark as well as two great-grandchildren Brooklynn and Kaya Clark.  His family, his canine friend Hoochie, as well as his many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends will surely miss him.

A walk-through viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro.  The funeral will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Bob Boyce officiating.  Interment will follow in the Dagsboro Redmen’s Cemetery.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing will be required as well as limited seating for the service.
