Lewes in Bloom awards first Beauty Spot of 2021

Lewes in Bloom recently presented its first Beauty Spot award for the season.
The Bay Ridge Woods property, a blank canvas one year ago, has been transformed into the foundation of several developing gardens. All are intended to accentuate natural materials such as wood and stone utilizing a variety of trees, perennial flowers and shrubs, and seamlessly blending into the surrounding woods.
Inspired by Welsh and Scottish gardens, Robert Langshaw built the cedar potting shed, greenhouse and raised vegetable beds on site, adding to the rustic feel.
