Lewes in Bloom wreath sale to run Oct. 15 to Nov. 9

Wreaths made from longlasting balsam fir from Maine
October 13, 2018

For the 2018 holiday season, Lewes in Bloom continues the tradition of selling decorated live wreaths perfect for decking residential and business doors. This year the wreaths will be from Maine. Shoppers can enjoy the holidays with the beauty and fresh aroma of a long-lasting balsam fir wreath throughout the season.

Wreaths can be purchased in person through Lewes in Bloom volunteers or online. The wreaths come in three sizes: 20-, 24- and 32-inch and cost $35, $45 or $55. Delivery dates are Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 28 and 29.

Purchasing a wreath helps make it possible for Lewes in Bloom to continue its mission to enhance the attractiveness of Lewes through beautification and maintenance of historic Lewes gardens. Buyers will be helping to continue efforts such as landscaping, historical preservation, urban forestry, environmental awareness, and the children’s garden – all for the enjoyment of the community at large.

Wreath sales are a prelude to the Lewes in Bloom Christmas Market to be held Saturday, Dec. 1, in the courtyard at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 2nd and Mulberry streets in Lewes. Unique, handmade holiday centerpieces and other long-lasting greens will be sold.

To be a part of the tradition and add holiday welcome with a beautiful handmade wreath, see any Lewes in Bloom volunteer or go to www.lewesinbloom.org
