Lewes Lions support local charity to help children in need
Members hear presentation, sponsor bingo fundraiser

The Lewes Lions Club became the 2026 lead Beach Bingo sponsor for Miriam’s Table, a local organization whose mission is, “To improve the physical and spiritual well-being of children and their families in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.” The organization feeds 350 children daily and has constructed a well providing clean water to their community.
A $750 check was presented to Susie Keefer, founder of Miriam’s Table, at the Feb. 10 Lewes Lions Club meeting, where Keefer presented information to members about her nonprofit charity.
