The City of Lewes celebrated Public Service Recognition Week May 6 with a cake to honor the service and commitment of the city’s employees. Public Service Recognition Week has been celebrated the first week of May since 1985 to honor individuals who serve the nation as federal, state, county, local and tribal government employees.
