Lewes Realtor selected for national leadership institute

The Women’s Council of Realtors Sussex County recently selected Robin Gordon Bunting, PMN, as 2025 Realtor of the Year.

The Bunting Group team leader, Bunting is an associate broker with Compass RE in Lewes. The recognition celebrates her outstanding service, professional excellence and transformative leadership.

Bunting also has been selected as one of only 15 real estate professionals nationwide to serve on the 2026 National Women’s Council of Realtors Leadership Institute, one of the organization’s highest leadership-development programs. Candidates are chosen for demonstrated leadership excellence and their commitment to advancing the council’s mission.

Having earned her real estate license in 1984, Bunting has been a steadfast leader within the Women’s Council of Realtors, most recently serving as the 2024 president of the Sussex County network. Throughout her tenure, she has brought a unique blend of deep industry expertise, creative problem-solving and calm, confident leadership that strengthened the organization and elevated its impact. She will continue her commitment to advancing the network as the 2026 events director.

During the award presentation, Sue Sisson, past women’s council president, said, “Robin embodies the values that define both Compass RE and the Women’s Council of Realtors – integrity, intention, innovation and service. While her impressive career speaks for itself, Robin’s true impact is felt in the way she lifts others up. She mentors generously, collaborates with purpose and brings fresh energy to every initiative.”

Known for her unwavering reliability and wholehearted engagement, Bunting has strengthened the network’s programs in event development, member education and strategic planning, fostering a culture rooted in inclusion, professionalism and encouragement.

Bunting also holds the Performance Management Network designation, which equips real estate professionals with advanced skills in leadership, business planning, negotiation, networking and performance management.
