Library Friends to host mystery and fiction book sale Jan. 23-24
The Friends of the Lewes Public Library will hold a mystery and fiction book sale from 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 23, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 24, at the library, 111 Adams Ave., Lewes.
Shoppers will uncover thrilling tales, chilling whodunits and gripping suspense novels at prices so low they’re almost criminal. More than 5,000 fiction mystery and sci-fi genre books will be available, with prices starting at $4 and proceeds benefiting the library.
“Are you a master of deduction? Do you love getting lost in a good story? Explore a vast collection of donated fiction and mystery novels at unbeatable prices, all while supporting a great cause!” said Candace Vessella, Friends of the Lewes Public Library president. “Every sale helps us support the library's purchase of new books and resources for the lending collection.”
Admission to the sale is free, and all are welcome. Credit cards will be accepted for purchases of $10 or more.
Friends of the Lewes Public Library is a separate 501(c)(3) affiliate of contributing members who support the Lewes library. Proceeds will be used for book and media purchases, library programming, special projects and other library needs.
