Local author-illustrator Teresa Rodriguez to sign books May 31

Local author and illustrator Teresa Rodriguez will be signing copies of her debut picture book, “A Very Serious Pig,” from 12 to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 31, at The Crafty Reader bookstore in Milford.

“A Very Serious Pig” tells the heartwarming story of Mr. Trotter, a kind and courteous pig who’s never seen smiling – until spirited little Breezy McBun decides to change that. Determined to bring joy to Mr. Trotter’s face, Breezy sets out on a charming quest to make him smile, giggle or even laugh out loud.

“I’m very excited to hold my first book signing at an independent bookshop,” said Rodriguez. “The Crafty Reader has been a wonderful addition to Milford’s growing downtown.”
