Local Elks lodge donates personal care items to Delaware Veterans Home

The Cape Henlopen Elks Lodge 2540 Veterans Committee responded to a recent request from the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford, which needed various personal items for the six women and 64 men currently residing in its four units.

The Veterans Home provides long-term care in nursing, family wholeness and enrichment for the nation's heroes. Committee members delivered the requested body wash and sweat pants March 5, for a total donation value of $927.
