Lofland presents movie at Riverfront Theater

The Milford Second Street Players hosted Joan Lofland March 11 as she presented her newest DVD, "Vinyard Shipbuilding Company and WWII Submarine Chasers." The 21-minute film served to kick off the Movies at Riverfront Theater and offered local media and others in the community an opportunity to see the DVD on the new digital movie setup.

This was an opportunity for Second Street Players to introduce this new endeavor and let the community know more about MaRT, its $5 movie program. There will be 10 movies a year: Fridays in Spanish language soundtrack and Saturdays in English language soundtrack.

The March program was the 2012 version of "The Avengers." "The Hundred Foot Journey" will be showing at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 17, in Spanish and Saturday, April 18, in English.
