Long and Foster announces realtor achievements

Long and Foster Real estate has announced the achievements of three local realtors.

Denise Karas, a sales associate with Long and Foster Real Estate Inc., has been awarded the prestigious Rookie of the Year for 2014 for the coastal region. “We are proud to announce Denise Karas as the Rookie of the Year for 2014 for the coastal region," said Carol Materniak, branch manager for Long and Foster Rehoboth Beach and Lewes offices. “Along with Denise’s professionalism, her enthusiasm and conscientious efforts have contributed to her quick success.”

Karas is an active member of Sussex County Association of Realtors. She has been involved in real estate for the past 20 years as an investor, seller and advisor. She is a member of Long and Foster’s Silver Team, Director’s Club. Karas is involved with various charities which benefit the homeless of Sussex County.

Long and Foster sales associate Jaime Hurlock has been recognized with two awards: Top Selling Agent and Most Units Sold for March and May for the Long and Foster Lewes office at 117 Savannah Road. “We are proud to announce Jaime as the March and May Top Selling and Most Units Sold Agent,” said Materniak. “Jaime quickly became a top realtor offering outstanding service and competitive marketing strategies.”

On a recent buyer survey, Hurlock’s clients described her as “a great asset to your team, thorough and very professional.” A real estate professional, Hurlock is an active member of the Sussex County Association of Realtors and serves as vice president of the Boys & Girls Club of Rehoboth Beach.

Sales associate Robin Davis has been recognized with three awards: Top Selling Agent, Highest Dollar Volume and Most Units Sold for April 2015, for Long and Foster’s Lewes office.

“We are proud to announce Robin Davis as April’s Top Agent in all three categories, Top Lister, Highest Volume and Most Units Sold Units,” said Materniak. “Robin is a seasoned top realtor, and offers outstanding service and competitive marketing.” On a recent buyer survey, Davis’s clients described her as phenomenal and said, "She goes above and beyond the call of duty.”

A real estate professional for over 14 years, Davis is an active member of the Sussex County Association of Realtors and has earned the Five Star Agent Award for five consecutive years. Davis was also an integral part of the development group for The Villages of Five Points and Bay Ridge Woods in Lewes for 11 years before coming on board as a full-time agent.
