Lord Baltimore Lions present awards at annual picnic

The Lord Baltimore Lions held their annual club picnic Aug. 18 at the Gude home. Lions and guests gathered under some beautiful weather for an afternoon of fun, fellowship and a celebration of club service from the recently concluded 2022-23 year.
Lions attending the picnic received their earned awards, and the ceremony concluded with Immediate Past President Janet Bauer naming Thrynn Kirby Lord Baltimore Lion of the Year.
This year, three Lord Baltimore Lions received the esteemed Melvin Jones Award for Humanitarian Service. These honors went to Scott Brannan, club president; Kathy Brannan, secretary; and Vince Whapham.
