Parishioners of St. Michael the Archangel and Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Faith Community, in Georgetown and Millsboro, and supporters came together Sept. 21 in Oak Orchard to collect canned and dry goods as well as share fellowship and fun for all.
DJ Scott Brady kept the crowd hopping with various activities during the drive. Children played water balloon games while adults lined up for horseshoe competitions. About 300 people joined in the festivities and shared some 300 bags of canned and dry goods for the needy.
