Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls cuts ribbon for reopening
Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls celebrated reopening for its spring season March 8 with a ribbon cutting sponsored by the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Located in the ocean block of Rehoboth Avenue, the beach town staple is ready to serve its famous sustainable Maine lobster, crab, and shrimp rolls, chowders and bisques.
For every lobster roll purchased at the Rehoboth location during March, Mason’s has pledged to donate $1 to assist the people of Ukraine as the country deals with the ongoing invasion by the Russian military. Funds will be donated to GlobalGiving’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund at globalgiving.org/projects/ukraine-crisis-relief-fund. All donations support humanitarian assistance in impacted Ukrainian communities and surrounding regions where Ukrainian refugees have fled. This assistance includes food, shelter, clean water, and access to education, health and psychosocial support.
General Manager Ania Chorna, co-owner of the Rehoboth Beach location, is from Ukraine. “It’s devastating to see my country in turmoil, and we are trying to help in any way we can. This is a cause very dear to my heart, and it’s important to me to provide support for the millions of Ukrainians who are impacted by this tragic situation,” she said.
Mason’s is located at 67 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach. To learn more, go to masonslobster.com or call 302-727-0411.
