Matthew M. McCarthy, 29, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023.
He was born in April 1993 to Thomas and Elizabeth McCarthy in Marydel.
Matt went to Caesar Rodney High School, and enjoyed and mastered his information technology training. He was employed at First State Flagging and enjoyed his work, his coworkers, and his friends.
Matthew was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth (Bettye Ann) McCarthy. He is survived by his son, Michael McCarthy; his father, Thomas McCarthy; brother, Robert Melvin (Skeet); grandmother, Marie Baull; his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, and his girlfriend, Brittany Breese.
A memorial for Matt will be announced at a later date.
