McGuiness is right person to follow Pete

May 10, 2024

Kathy McGuiness announced her candidacy for the Delaware House of Representatives May 4. It was impressive to see so many local politicians there to support her run for Pete Schwartzkopf’s seat. Even more impressive was to see and hear Pete’s endorsement of Kathy. Pete has accomplished so much during his tenure and is confident that McGuiness is the right person to succeed him. He knows she has the energy, capability and experience to serve. She has the determination and resolve to advocate for the residents of Sussex County and the State of Delaware.

Kathy does not back down from a fight and welcomes the challenges of elected office. Her experience in government, business and volunteer work over the past 40 years has prepared her for the challenges of following in Schwartzkopf’s footsteps. Support Kathy McGuiness in order to make your voice heard in our state government.
