Millard "Bill" Thurman Bebout, retired salesman

Millard "Bill" Thurman Bebout, 84, of Frankford, formerly of Frederick, Md., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. Bill was born in Richmond, Va., April 15, 1933, son of the late Millard E. Bebout and the late Edith (Turner) Porter.

Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was an outside sales representative for industrial cleaning and paper supplies before his retirement. Bill volunteered his time with both the Charles and Frederick County rescue squads, the Civil Air Patrol, was an assistant baseball coach and was heavily involved with the Boy Scouts.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Shirley A. (Keeler) Bebout; two sons, William Byron Bebout and his wife Think, and Jason Edward Bebout; a daughter, Pamela Denise Bebout; a grandson, Tadziu Byron Bebout; and a half-brother, Reginald S. Porter and his wife Debbie.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
