Millville Town Peddler to host exhibit by illustrator CJ Oechsle through August

Free and open to the public
July 29, 2017

Millville Town Peddler announced it will host an exhibit of work by artist and illustrator CJ Oechsle for the month of August.

Oechsle is a Delaware artist and a 2008 graduate of Smyrna High School. He more recently graduated from The Kubert School in Dover, N.J., with a certificate in cartooning and illustration. Oechsle currently is a freelance comic book artist and also does commissions, portraits and character design work.

Oechsle said, "I draw comics because comic books changed my life. I used to work a normal 9-to-5 job, and I hated every moment of it. I began reading comics at the age of 21, and I realized I could use my talent to reach thousands of people. I'd like to use that platform to share a message of hope to our troubled world." The collection will be displayed at Millville Town Peddler Tuesday, Aug. 1, to Thursday, Aug. 31.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. Oechsle's art will be available for purchase in store and also online at www.mtpeddler.com. Millville Town Peddler is at 35308 Atlantic Ave. in Millville. For more information, call 302-381-5891, email mtpeddler@verizon.net or go to www.mtpeddler.com.
