Milton Arts Guild classes continue June 3

Milton Arts Guild will offer a wide variety of creative classes in June featuring a broad array of media and styles.

Candy Barbaccia will lead Knitted Shawl or Beach Tote, set for 9 to 11 a.m, Mondays, June 3, 10 and 17, at 107 Federal St., Milton. Students will knit one of two fun projects to take for a day at the beach. Cost for the full series is $125.

Celebrated watercolorist Anne Buck will lead a five-part beginning watercolor series from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Mondays, June 3, 10, 17 and 24, and July 1, at Studios on Walnut, 310 Walnut St., Milton. The price for all five classes is $240.

Instructor Sharon Davis will teach a beginner wet felting wool workshop from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, at Studios on Walnut. Students will take home two of their own creations. Cost is $80 and includes all supplies.

Summer Joy Watercolor class with artist instructor Gerilyn Gaskill will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, June 8, at Studios on Walnut. Students will paint quintessential summer scenes, including sand dunes and waves. Cost is $60.

Instructor Jenn Johnson will lead students in designing and crafting fanciful crepe paper parrot tulips from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 8. Participants will create summery floral arrangements that don’t require water. Cost is $60, plus an additional $20 materials fee to be paid at class time for all needed supplies.

Mixed Media Canvas with Cynthia Schmidt is set for 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, June 15, at Studios on Walnut. Schmidt will provide all the supplies and instruction needed for students to create three 5-by-7-inch pieces of unique, personal art using a variety of materials including acrylic paint, shells, rocks, glass and driftwood. Cost is $55.
