Milton Christmas parade rings in the holidays

Santa Claus made his way to Milton Dec. 6, as part of the town’s annual Christmas parade.
Santa rode his makeshift sleigh on the back of a Milton Fire Department truck to a cold but enthusiastic crowd on Union Street. The parade featured school bands, fire departments and local businesses from all over the Cape Region.
All lit up for the season are the Davidsons. Shown are (l-r) Millie, Robert, Marshall and Meghan.
The parade featured fire trucks strung with Christmas lights, such as this one from Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company.
The Woodalls of Woodall Customs make their way down Union Street. Shown are (l-r) Goldie, Wendy, Jet and Chris.
The parade didn’t just feature walking and vehicles, it also had boats, such as this one from the Milton Yacht Club.
One of the brightest vehicles in the parade came from Jusst Sooup Ministries.
The Wyoming Millwork float comes down Union Street.
While it didn’t snow for real, the float for law firm Aleman and Associates brought its own white stuff.
