The Milton Garden Club will host a public reception for its rescheduled 25th anniversary celebration, set for 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 22, in the upstairs room at the Milton Fire Hall, 166 Front St., Milton.
Commemorating 25 years of support for the club by the citizens and officials of the town of Milton, there will be a short program discussing the club’s history as well as some future plans, along with a display of memorabilia from the last 25 years.
A few community members will be honored, and light refreshments will be served.
Attendees must not park in the paved lot directly across from the firehouse. Parking is available in the lot across Chestnut Street and in the M&T Bank parking lot, because the bank is closed Sunday.
The Milton Garden Club is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and funds are raised and used to purchase plants and flowers to beautify Milton, as well as to provide scholarships for local students pursuing a degree in horticulture.
