Milton Garden Club scholarship applications due April 30

The Milton Garden Club is now accepting applications for two college scholarships. One will be awarded to current college students and another to a high school senior. 

The garden club will be awarding $3,000 in each category, and the amount of each scholarship will depend on the number of qualified applicants.

The postsecondary student scholarship is for full-time students attending colleges or universities in Delaware including University of Delaware, Delaware State University and Delaware Technical Community College.

The scholarship for high school students is open to senior students from Sussex County. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the study of landscape and ornamental horticulture; plant science including sustainable landscapes, production horticulture, plant pathology, plant biology and genetics, soils and environmental quality; landscape design and architecture; agribusiness marketing and management; or another similar related field.
