Milton Holly Festival to offer local holiday shopping Dec. 14

December 5, 2019

The Milton Chamber of Commerce announced the 30th Annual Milton Holly Festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14.

More than 70 vendors will be onsite offering crafts, jewelry, home decor, apparel, accessories and much more. Visitors can get their holiday shopping done in one visit to historic downtown Milton.

Vendors will be located in the Milton Public Library, Goshen Hall and HOB Elementary School, a new venue this year. The HOB cafeteria space will host 47 vendors; the library will host 22 vendors, and Goshen Hall will host 13 vendors. The Milton Fire Department will not host vendors due to ongoing renovations.

The Milton Garden Club will sell fresh evergreen arrangements at the Milton Historical Society museum at 210 Union St. Families shopping with kids can visit HOB where there will be a professional face painter onsite from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., courtesy of Jeanine O’Donnell of State Farm Insurance in Lewes. Goshen Hall will have chili, hot dogs and other goodies for sale by the Women of Goshen United Methodist Church.

Santa Claus will be at the Milton library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., sponsored by Jack Lingo Realtor. Milton businesses participating in Second Saturday will offer specials from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Attendees can pick up programs at any of the three venues on event day. Programs will include a full listing of vendors, locations and a map.
