Milton recognizes women’s club and pollinator preserve partners

At a recent Milton Town Council meeting, Mayor Paul Kanakos and council members issued Resolution 2019-017 to recognize the Women’s Club of Milton pollinator preserve garden project.

The recognition letter thanked the Women’s Club of Milton and its partners in the pollinator garden for efforts to preserve natural wildlife and pollination.

The pollinator preserve project has more than 300 plants in the garden, located on the grounds of the Milton Historical Society.

As stated in the recognition, “Partners in the preserve project extend beyond the Town of Milton to include the Milton Community Foundation, Milton Garden Club, Milton Historical Society, DogFish Head Brewery, Delaware State Department of Fish and Wildlife as well as many residents of the Town of Milton.”
