Milton should add a dog park

May 16, 2023

We live in Milton and read that a new 294-acre park is proposed to be coming to Milton on Gravel Hill and Shingle Point roads. I think that’s great, but we wonder if Milton would consider adding a dog park in its future plans. Many people in our community have dogs, especially added during the pandemic when we became dog owners. The closest dog parks to us are in Milford and in Lewes. However, a half-hour drive with a nervous dog can be a struggle. We would love to see that coming to our beautiful town soon and know there are many others who would enjoy it.
