Milton Zombie Fest provides another year of scares

The undead came alive Oct. 19 in downtown Milton, as Milton Theatre hosted its annual Zombie Fest.

For the second year in a row, the festival was a street party that took over Union Street and drew thousands downtown. Many who came showed up in costume, donning their Halloween best to browse vendors, get food from local food trucks, watch freak show performers and listen to bands at the theater’s Quayside Stage. The night culminated with the Zombie Walk, in which registered zombies could stagger down Union Street looking for brains. 

 

Among the attendees who broke out their dressed-to-kill duds are Tony Denoi as The Crow and Karen Gilliford as Samara, the girl from the 2002 horror film “The Ring.” 
Say his name three times and he appears: Rob Noles portrays the ghost with the most, Beetlejuice, along with zombie Nathan Moore.
