Mispillion Art League to host reception Sept. 15

The Mispillion Art League‘s members-only 20th annual judged and juried show will be on display through Saturday, Nov. 4. All are invited to the opening reception set for 5 to 6:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15, at 5 N Walnut St., Milford.  Attendees will enjoy original art, refreshments and creative company.

MAL also has a stacked autumn class schedule. The lineup includes a Causey Mansion Photo Safari, Brushin’ with Keith watercolor experience, introductory classes for Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Lightroom, and individual pottery lessons with Mimi Galligan. 

MAL is looking for an operations manager to oversee the operations of the gallery, gift shop and classroom. Candidates must have skills including, but not limited to, cloud and database management, customer service, and Microsoft Office suite. For the fifth year, Mispillion Art League will host the Big Draw Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7. Attendees can enjoy free, family-friendly art activities on Park Avenue in downtown Milford.
