The Miss Delaware Pageant will be held Thursday to Saturday, June 27 to 29, at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino. June 27 and 28 will be the preliminary pageants with each contestant competing in evening wear, talent, swim suit and on-stage question during those two nights. At the conclusion of the pageant on Saturday evening, the new Miss Delaware 2013 will be crowned.

Each evening the pageant will begin at 7:30 p.m. Information about the pageant and purchasing tickets can be obtained by visiting www.missde.org.

During the weekend there will be a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing, the People's Choice competition and a Champagne and Diamonds event. Whitten's Jewelers has donated a pair of diamond earrings valued at $3,000. One hundred glasses of champagne will be sold at $25 each, which gives the purchaser a chance to win the earrings on Saturday evening.

The new Miss Delaware 2013 will be traveling to Atlantic City in September for the Miss America Pageant.
