Monroe Avenue houses burned in Lewes
The Lewes Fire Department spent Nov. 10 and 11 practicing fire scenarios on three old Monroe Avenue houses in Lewes. Past Chief Gordon Davis helped lead the practice, and he said the structures were going to be demolished anyway to make room for the new Showfield development off Gills Neck Road.
