Motto Mortgage Prosperity opens doors in Milton

Current and future of real estate market discussed at ribbon-cutting
January 10, 2019

Motto Mortgage Prosperity held a round table discussion regarding the state of the real estate market, and trends relevant to the Southern Delaware and Maryland areas moving into 2019 before officially opening their new office in Milton Dec. 17.

Motto Mortgage LLC is a unique brokerage franchise made up of a growing network of brokers who focus their attention and familiarity with the community, and has just added it’s newest office to Southern Delaware.

CEO of the Oldfather Group of Sotheby’s International Reality, Dustin Oldfather, is excited to add mortgage and financial services to the repertoire of one of the largest and highest-rated real estate groups in Southern Delaware and Maryland.

“We pride ourselves on the extensive work we do to find the best service and offering for our clients. Our commitment to customer service, education and unique options catered to each particular home buyer from first-time buyers to retirees is one of our founding principles. Adding this additional service for our clients and neighbors will help streamline communication and improve the customer experience when offering the best product at the best rate,” said Oldfather.

Prior to the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at the offices at 16394 Paynters Mill Blvd. Suite 102 in Milton, a catered lunch was provided to all in attendance while a discussion was lead by Oldfather, associates and Motto Mortgage Franchising LLC President Ward Morrison. It focused on how this type of business is a direct asset to helping those searching for homes to be educated and given various options based on their wants and needs, all in the positive hope of providing a great home-buying experience whether it is a townhome, condominium, single-family home or the dream house on the beach.

Motto Mortgage Prosperity’s main focus is providing numerous loan programs and other options to home buyers while working directly with wholesale lenders to provide more transparent and competitive offers.

“Motto Mortgage is compiled of a vast network of brokers, as we now have over 100 franchises with over 70 offices throughout the United States. Our commitment to being innovative in our approach allows for each one of our franchises to be independently owned and operated by those who know your community best when it comes to real estate and market trends. All of us at Motto Mortgage work toward a common goal of improving the customer service experience with a white glove service mentality, since an experience as big as owning a home is life-changing. As the real estate market continues to grow in the area, as this is a very desirable place to live for people of all ages, we are happy to have the experience and expertise at our newest location in Milton in conjunction with the well respected and established Oldfather Group of Sotheby’s International,” said Morrison.

Other topics were discussed at the informative discussion by the Motto Mortgage Prosperity Team and Chief Buying Consultant Adam Linder, such as the best options for different tiers of home buying from condos and townhomes up to luxury, and the best options available. Also discussed was the increase in development and opportunities for parties interested in purchasing older properties in order to fix them up as rentals or flip them (something that has become very popular) and the work that comes along with doing something of that magnitude. The state of the dynamic market and real estate vs. wage based on prices were also discussed.

As with any large purchase or decision, there are possible other hurdles that a home buyer may experience during this process, but the team at Motto Mortgage Prosperity lends pride to covering all the bases.

“We want to counsel our clients on what to expect when buying a home, whether it is new construction or a historic property. Inspections and repairs can be unexpected in certain situations but it is something that we want to make sure all our clients are aware of as we work together through the process of providing lending options and working with realtors who know the area best; and the possible road bumps that can sometimes bring anxiety or fear to home buyers. Our streamlined services and attention to detail will help ease the mind of the clients, and help them start a wonderful life in a new home,” said Chief Financial Officer Mariya Oldfather.

The event was wrapped up as members of the Oldfather Group, Motto Mortgage LLC and community members stood in front of the offices as members of the Milton Chamber were on hand to hold an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to recognize the addition of Motto Mortgage Prosperity to Milton.
