Multiple Sclerosis Society receives donation from Tunnell Companies

The Tunnell Companies presented the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society with a $15,000 check May 5 in Millsboro.

Robert Tunnell III said he vividly recalls a time when his grandmother was afflicted by the disease and was unable to walk.

“We’ve supported the MS Society for 30 years now,” he said. “Kevin [Moffitt’s] organization been great to work with, and we look forward to continuing to support him.”

Moffitt, president of the MS Society, said the donation is expected to fund vital research endeavors, provide crucial resources for individuals living with MS, and contribute to awareness campaigns aimed at fostering greater understanding and support within the community.
