Muriel T. Honey, devout Catholic

Muriel T. Honey (nee Smith), 96, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Cadbury at Lewes.

Born in Jersey City, N.J., she lived in Lyndhurst, N.J. for over 60 years before moving to Lewes three years ago.

She was a former member of the AARP of Lyndhurst, the Rosary Society of Queen of Peace Church, the ladies auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, Queen of Peace Council 3428 and a member of the Sultana of the Alhambra all of North Arlington, N.J.

She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Honey; the cherished mother of Patrick J. Honey and his wife Evelyn of Spring Lake Heights, N.J. , Carol Ann Hurley and her husband James of Lewes, and James T. Honey and his wife Marianne of Northvale, N.J.; the adored grandmother of seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral was from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Road, North Arlington, N.J., Monday, Dec. 17, with a funeral Mass in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington. The interment followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
