Nanticoke Indian Museum holds Native American Day

The Nanticoke Indian Museum in Millsboro hosted Native American Day Nov. 1, celebrating the culture and history of the tribe.
The event featured traditional dancing and music, storytelling, Native American food, guest speakers, free trips through the museum and tribal memorabilia from vendors.

As part of Native American Day, visitors were encouraged to take free tours of the Nanticoke Indian Museum.
Ryan Mavity covers Milton and the court system. He is married to Rachel Swick Mavity and has two kids, Alex and Jane. Ryan started with the Cape Gazette all the way back in February 2007, previously covering the City of Rehoboth Beach.
