NAPA opens store on Route 1 near Milton

Local family expands auto parts franchise’s footprint in Delaware
September 29, 2022

When NAPA Auto Parts’ corporate office approached Debbie and Tim Millman about the opportunity to open a new store, their third, in Milton, it was an offer they could not refuse.

“Milton is close to my heart,” Tim said.

Tim is a Cape Henlopen High School grad whose family has lived in the Milton area for 50 years. The Millmans also have NAPA stores in Milford and Harrington. The Milton store opened Sept. 27; the Millmans own and operate three of the seven NAPA franchises in Sussex County.

While NAPA stores are usually locally owned and operated, occasionally, the corporate office asks a franchisee to open a store in a particular location, which was the case with Milton. Located on Route 1 just south of the intersection with Route 16, the store offers auto parts, tools and supplies for cars, trucks and heavy vehicles.

NAPA Auto Parts is open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday; and closed Sunday. For more information, call 302-684-4319.
