Nassau Valley Vineyards Farmers Market opens to great weather

May 13, 2023

The Nassau Valley Vineyards Farmers Market held its opening day May 7. From 12 to 3 p.m., every Sunday, visitors can find local vendors presenting their produce and wares for purchase.

Local produce, honey, jams, arts and crafts, and more are available at the market. Local musicians such as Matt Lafferty, Ed Shockley, Hot Sauce Band, Keith Mack and more entertain the crowd as they enjoy a Nassau Valley Vineyards sangria made from its finest wines.

“It’s a wonderful opening day,” said owner Peggy Raley-Ward. “We’re so happy for the market to open for the season. We’ve missed our vendors and are excited to welcome some new faces. Our customers love the unique venue we’ve put together with the market, the music and the sangria bar. It feels great to be able to give folks a place to relax and unwind.”
