Nativity reminds of the reason for the season

Good Ole Boy Foundation, local churches team for annual display
December 20, 2022

The Good Ole Boy Foundation and local churches teamed for a living nativity on The Circle in Georgetown Dec. 16-17.

A candlelight ceremony at the nativity is planned for Wednesday, Dec. 21.

The Good Ole Boy Foundation helps coordinate resources to aid families in their time of need. The nonprofit group also awards Christmas grants to area youth organizations.

After a traditional static nativity display sponsored by Georgetown Wesleyan Church was forced to be removed from The Circle in 2019, the foundation, with the help of 11 area churches, staged its first living nativity.
