Newmark Grubb Knight Frank selected to market prime 90-acre parcel in Milford

July 24, 2012

Newmark Grubb Knight Frank has announced that Sandra Ware has been selected by a private investor to market for sale a 90-acre parcel of land known as Sunnybrae, located at 416 NE 10th St. in Milford.

Situated across the street from the Milford High School and adjacent to the highway commercial corridor along Route 1, the parcel is home to a 6,800-square-foot, 11-bedroom, private mansion that currently is used for special functions. Only a 20-minute drive to Dover Air Force Base and southern Delaware beaches, the property has exceptional development potential.

“The superb location and high visibility afforded this property make it ideal for a college campus or retail center,” Ware said. “There is significant opportunity in an area that continues to expand, with state roadway funds committed to building a new cloverleaf intersection to the new commercial corridor.”

Milford’s commercial sector is a bright spot in Delaware’s economy, with major tenants choosing to locate along Route 1 near Sunnybrae. Contact Ware at 302-542-0900 for more information.
