Representatives from the United States Census Bureau will be on-site to assist prospective employees with the application process. Applications are available in both English and Spanish.

Open positions include recruiting assistant, census field supervisor, office operations supervisor, enumerator (local counter), and clerk. All positions are temporary and have flexible hours. DSP to hold prescription drug disposal event April 27
Delaware State Police and Drug Enforcement Administration will hold a free, anonymous prescription drug disposal event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 27 at Troop 7, 18006 Coastal Highway, Lewes. Residents can safely dispose of unused and expired prescription pills or patches. Liquids, needles or sharps cannot be accepted. Police say the 17th National Take-Back Initiative addresses a vital public safety and public health issue. Medicines that languish in home cabinets are susceptible to misuse and abuse, and contribute to high rates of accidental poisonings and overdoses.  Studies show most abused prescription drugs are obtained from family and friends, including from the home medicine cabinet. Flushing unwanted medications down the toilet or throwing them in the trash also both pose potential safety and health hazards.
