Environment group to meet in Rehoboth

The Rehoboth Beach Environment Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 19, in the commissioners room of city hall, 229 Rehoboth Ave. The agenda calls for an update on the straw-free initiative, and discussions on the city’s climate action plan, use of gas-powered landscape equipment, and offshore wind farms and their impacts on coastal Delaware.

Rehoboth streets committee to meet

The Rehoboth Beach Streets and Transportation Committee will meet at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 19, in the commissioners room of city hall, 229 Rehoboth Ave. The agenda calls for continued discussion on crosswalks, sharrows and new curbing at the intersection of Grove Street and Columbia Avenue; and a discussion on the impact on traffic flow of delivery vehicles unloading.

Rehoboth board to meet May 20

Rehoboth Beach commissioners will meet at 2 p.m., Friday, May 20, in the commissioners room of city hall, 229 Rehoboth Ave. The agenda calls for continued discussion on outdoor dining on private property, the approval of a recruitment brochure and first-year goals in the hiring of a new city manager.
