For the first time since 2017, there will be no Cape Henlopen school board election because only two candidates filed for the two available seats.
Incumbents Jason Bradley and Bill Collick will be sworn in to their five-year school board seats in July.
Bradley originally won the five-year, Area B seat by a landslide over candidate Gary Wray in 2015, and was named board vice president for the 2019-20 school year. He sits on the citizens budget oversight committee and the buildings and grounds committee.
Collick won his one-year, at-large seat in a landslide over Chuck Mowll in 2019 to fill the remaining year of board member Roni Posner, who retired before her term expired. Collick sits on the district athletics and extracurricular committee.
Both five-year school board terms begin July 1, 2020, and expire June 30, 2025.
