Noble's Pond to host a Holly Jolly Holiday Open House Dec. 7

December 4, 2013

Noble's Pond, a 55-plus community in Dover, will host its Holiday Open House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7. During this event guests will have an opportunity to tour two professionally decorated model homes - The Fairfield and Woodbridge models. The almost-completed Carolina model will also be available for tours and a sneak peak prior to being decorated and furnished.

"We can't wait to show guests the chef-inspired kitchen in the Carolina. The kitchen design is the inspiration of Chef Jay Caputo, owner of three restaurants at the Delaware beaches: Espuma and Cabo in Rehoboth Beach, and the Rose and Crown British Pub in Lewes," said Mary Field, vice president of Noble's Pond.

An expanded and deluxe Brandywine Carriage Home is available for immediate occupancy. This home features a two-car garage, two bedrooms and baths and a large, open great room and dining area.  Hard hat tours of homes currently under construction will also be available during the Open House.

"Guests love to see the homes while under construction, and we are proud to show the quality workmanship, the ability to customize floor plans and the attention to detail that goes into each and every home we build here at Noble's Pond," said Christopher "Kit" Klemchusky, construction superintendent.

Festivities during the open house include desserts and hot apple cider, an opportunity to mix and mingle with current Noble's Pond residents, and a chance to participate in the annual Toys for Tots drive. Guests will also have an opportunity to learn more about Delaware's many tax advantages, including tax-free shopping. A karaoke sing-along to ensure everyone is in the holiday spirit will take place in the conservatory from 1 to 3 p.m. Guests, residents and staff are all invited to join in the fun.

A visit to Noble's Pond would not be complete without a tour of The Point, the award-winning clubhouse. The Point will be decorated to the nines, thanks to the help of the residents. Guests will enjoy touring this facility with its country club amenities including a fitness center, creative center, library with computer nook, game room with billiard tables, darts and poker table, a conservatory with flat-screen TVs and the Gathering Point, a ballroom large enough to accommodate up to 320 people.

Noble's Pond is the recipient of 51 awards from the Home Builders Association of Delaware. Entries are judged on interior and exterior design, affordability and community amenities.

The Noble's Pond Welcome Center, clubhouse and model homes, at 13 Noble's Pond Crossing in Dover, are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday and noon to  5 p.m., Sunday.  For more information call 1-888-222-0030 or go to www.noblespondhomes.com.
