Occupational Therapy of Delaware celebrates grand opening in Milford

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford, Milford Mayor Bryan Shupe, CCGM President Terri Favata, CCGM Secretary Alicia Hollis, and friends and family recently celebrated a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration for Occupational Therapy of Delaware in Milford.
Occupational Therapy of Delaware provides personal treatment plans focusing on the hand and upper extremities to help patients recover from injury or illness. It provides exceptional patient care in a compassionate environment that focuses on the patient's healing and safety. Specialties include hand therapy and neuro rehab for Parkinson's, stroke and other disorders, custom splinting, and LSVT-BIG program.
Hands are complex and amazing tools made up of 27 distinct bones. When a person's hands are not functioning properly, the mindless tasks they do all day long can be painful and sometimes nearly impossible. It is important to find a therapist with the expertise and knowledge necessary to help the patient regain strength, independence and a pain-free way of life.
