Ocean View Presbyterian to host lunch during house tour July 25-26

Thinking of a nice lunch out with friends during the South Coastal Library’s Beach & Bay Cottage Tour? The Ocean View Presbyterian Church Sewing Circle will host its annual Heavenly Luncheon on the tour days from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, July 25 and 26. Culinary delights will include California chicken salad, pasta salad, Caesar salad, rolls, fresh local fruit, homemade iced tea, and, of course, chocolate and butterscotch brownies to satisfy the sweet tooth.

Attendees may dine at their leisure, or simply eat and run. Cost is $12 per person with ample free parking, fast service and delicious, fresh food. Carry-out is also available. Diners will enjoy live piano music provided by church organist Kathy Rhodes.

Proceeds support local nonprofits including the Tunnell Cancer Center, the Pyle Center, Ten Mile Miracle and the CHEER Center Meals on Wheels Program, as well as national and international missions.
