Order handcrafted wreaths from Maine through Nov. 15

Major fundraiser for Lewes in Bloom
November 4, 2019

Continuing a Lewes tradition, Lewes in Bloom is again selling live wreaths for the holiday season. Orders are being taken through Friday, Nov. 15. Handcrafted in Maine of Balsam fir, each decorated wreath is adorned with a beautiful six-loop red bow.

Wreaths can be ordered in person from Lewes in Bloom volunteers or at www.lewesinbloom.org.

The wreaths come in two sizes: 24"  for $40, or 32" for $60. Lewes in Bloom volunteers will deliver the wreaths to a buyer’s home or place of business, Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 4-5.

This sale is a major Lewes in Bloom fundraiser.

Purchasing a wreath makes it possible for Lewes in Bloom to carry out its mission to promote the beautification and maintenance of Historic Lewes and the community at large. By doing so, historical preservation, urban forestry, environmental awareness and wide-ranging community involvement, in addition to floral displays and landscaping, are enhanced for everyone’s enjoyment.

In addition to planting tulips and annuals in the various gardens around town, Lewes in Bloom also maintains the Children’s Learning Garden in Stango Park and the Herb Garden at the Fisher-Martin House in Zwaanendael Park.
