Painting class with Heidi Lowe to benefit Lewes arts group Aug. 5
To benefit the City of Lewes Public Art Committee, artist Heidi Lowe will teach an intuitive painting class from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Margaret H Rollins Community Center, 101 Adams Ave., Lewes.
Available for anyone over age 13, this class will take students through a transformative process of reaching their inner creativity. Anyone interested in painting, enlivening their inner artistic spirit, trying something new and wanting to exercise courage is welcome.
Lowe is donating her time and expertise, and all proceeds will go to support bringing world-class art to Lewes. Attending students do not need any prior painting knowledge or experience. This process-oriented class will ask students to be present and open to something new, purely for the joy of being creative.
The class investment is $100 per student including all necessary supplies. Class proceeds will support the annual temporary sculpture exhibit brought to the city by the Lewes Public Art Committee.
