Painting with a Twist fundraiser to benefit Meals On Wheels Oct. 19

Painting with a Twist, an art and social studio in Lewes, will host a Painting with a Purpose charity event at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19, to benefit Meals On Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth.

The event will feature a three-hour class of a painting titled "Abigail's Evening." No painting experience is needed, and the event will include complimentary wine, beer, and light fare food. To sign up, go to paintingwithatwist.com/lewes/calendar or call 302-313-5769.

Each month, franchisees from across the nation hold painting fundraisers through the Painting with a Purpose program to benefit local charities. For this event, 50 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Meals on Wheels. Collectively, the Painting with a Twist system has donated more than $3.8 million through local Painting with a Purpose events.
