Pauline L. White, retired store manager
Pauline L. White, 79, passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, at Bayhealth Medical Center, Milford.
Pauline was born March 9, 1946, in Roxana, daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Timmons) Morgan.
Pauline enjoyed going to thrift stores and yard sales. She enjoyed being around people and working for many years. She was nicknamed “Penny”. By her employees, Pauline was quick-witted and loved practical jokes. She enjoyed cooking and being with her family, especially during the holidays.
In addition to both parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her youngest son, Harley White; and sisters, Kathleen Dukes, Barbara Melson and Ruth Ann Melson.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wayne A. White; son, Wayne M. White Sr. (Angie) of Milton; daughter, Patty Bodenweiser (Eric) of Georgetown; a sister, Betty Jane Atkins of Millsboro; grandchildren, Wayne M. White Jr., Tyler White, Desi Millman and Dylan White; and seven great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to her dedicated friend and caregiver, Sandy Rager.
