Bethany Blues in Lewes hosted its Fourth Annual Defeat the Meat Pigs on the Wing-eating contest April 7. Pigs on the Wing, chopped St. Louis-style wings in Buffalo hot sauce, are a popular menu item at Bethany Blues. Local first responders competed for bragging rights and 10 percent of the night’s receipts. After the first responders, the contest was open to the public, which then competed for $200, Pigs on the Wing for one year and a championship belt.
