Pink Affair seeks gently used designer items Sept. 26-27

Tickets now available for luncheon and boutique shopping event

Cancer Support Community Delaware’s Pink Affair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday Oct. 21, at the Lewes Yacht Club.

Tickets for the luncheon and boutique shopping event are $60 per person and $360 for a table of six. To purchase seats, go to cancersupportdelaware.org.

Raffles, silent auction and 50/50 chances also will be taking place at the Pink Affair.

New and gently used designer clothing and accessories are still needed for the Pink Affair luncheon and boutique. Items accepted include dresses, fine jewelry, furs, jackets, high-end purses, skirts, sunglasses and sweaters.

The donation drive continues from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 26 and 27, at the Beebe Medical Arts Building, 18947 John J. Williams Hwy., Suite 312, Rehoboth Beach. Donors are asked to call before arriving, 302-645-9150.

Volunteers are also needed for the Oct. 21 event, with shifts from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Anyone interested in helping by selling tickets or assisting in the boutique can call the CSCDE office at 302-645-9150 or contact npickles@cscde.org.

Proceeds from the Pink Affair help directly fund critical programming for participants, caregivers and families impacted by cancer in Sussex County, at no cost to them.

Cancer Support Community Delaware, a statewide nonprofit organization, has spent the past 25 years making its mission its tradition, striving to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community. Its support groups and programs are professionally led and provided at no cost to help participants and caregivers cope with the emotional and life-changing aspects of cancer.
