Young and young at heart are invited to join neighbors for the Halloween activities taking place in Lewes.
The third annual pumpkin carving event will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the Lewes Historical Society campus on Shipcarpenter Street. Pumpkins will be provided, so participants only need to bring carving tools and imagination.
The carved pumpkins will be placed around Zwaanendael Park in downtown Lewes in preparation for trick or treat in the park starting at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31. Participants may dress up and celebrate. Lewes in Bloom members will distribute candy.
